Sparkling Lights of Nights from the Water in Saint Augustine 2022

It’s starting to feel like vacation season is here! If you haven’t experienced the enhancement fun of Saint Augustine’s Sparling Nights of Lights from the water, this should be added to your bucket list! When Will It Start?

The nights of lights start from November 19 through 2022-January 31, 2023. They are now celebrating the 29th year of bringing happiness to the community and tourists. Thanks to the many individual participating businesses and the community of Saint Augustine who made the Nights of Lights possible every year. The purpose is to bring people into the city to have fun and see the beautiful holiday light display with family and friends. Evert night, the display lights turn on at dusk and remain turned on throughout the night.

Saint Augustine’s Sparkling Nights of Lights is considered one of the 10 Best Holiday Displays in the World by National Geographic.

Exploring the Night of Lights

There are many ways to participate in the Nights of lights. You can either do it by land, sea, and air!

1. Land Tours – A classic way to experience the event. There is something about walking around the town while feeling the Christmas season that Saint Augustine has to offer. Make sure to create unforgettable memories!

2. Water Tours – One of the best ways to see the Nights of Lights. Feel the gentle cold breeze, and the relaxing rock of the ship, and a very informative tour guide is the perfect experience for this special event. St. Aug By Boat is a great opportunity to enjoy. See the beautiful reflection of thousands of lights on the water. Book their 90 minute tour for the best view that will take you throughout downtown Saint Augustine.

3. Air Tours – If you are more adventurous, air tours via helicopters should be on your bucket list. You’ll definitely create memories you’ll never forget showcasing the city’s skyline of lights. Make sure to book ahead of time for this tour.
